Blue Raspberry (Retired)
When you were a kid, did you ever eat an ice-cold Blue Raspberry slushie on a hot summer day and see your tongue turn blue? Or maybe you loved that chewy Blue Raspberry candy? Is there really such a thing as a Blue Raspberry fruit? Well, that depends upon what you want to believe.
Most Blue Raspberry foods are made from the White Bark Raspberry -- which has a tarter flavor than red or black raspberries -- with a generous dose of electric blue food dye added of course. This coloring was created to distinguish raspberry-flavored foods from the reds of cherry, strawberry, and watermelon.
